I can not believe that Toby is into his 10th month.
We love him dearly. The kids jokingly say I love Toby more than I love them! He was definitely worth the wait. He is the perfect companion dog, in fact, he just got back from a 3 mile walk with me and is presently sleeping on my lap.He was wonderful comfort to both my husband and myself during this stressful month of surgery. He seems to be able to tell when we just need to be loved on. He has always been beautiful but this past month is getting noticably more feathering on his chest and legs. We are still debating on getting another Cavalier, I know that Toby would enjoy a playmate. Let me know when a good time would be to come and see your puppies, especially your "miracle baby."

I am not sure what you call the colour of my Cavalier he is Brown and White and is called Sandwich, I know it's a weird name but my lil Sisters Jo and Gabby short for Gabriell wanted to call her that and my 18 year old brother Dilly agreed so did my mum and my dad. I did'nt tough nor did my boyfriend Tom, I wanted to call him Blackie it's not fair Boo Hoo.
We also know a breeder who breeds Bichon Friese's wich are horrible dogs and they said all Cavalier's are stupid especially Sandwich, My mum, Dad and the rest of the family don't like them anymore.

What is the life expectancy for Cavaliers? Our dog, Sailor, is a little timid with strangers. I think he may have been abused by his breeder or someone b/4 we bought him. We got him when he was 3 yrs old and he was supposed to be a stud but was sterile so they sold him. Is there anything we can do to reassure him? He is such a loving dog, I could have 100 of them!!

I currently have a 12 yr old Shitzu who has Cushings and many skin diseases. She has gone from 20 to 9 lbs as we recently moved. I am encouraging her to eat and get some exercise but fear she may not be with us too much longer. I do so love the breed but have also fallen for those sad eyes of the Cavalier. Gabriele, you have been a wonderful source of information and a fabulous mentor. We love having Heidi in our home. She is a loving, funny, beautiful addition to our family. We like being able to get the pups together to play...they have so much fun.
Heidi is a joy to show in the ring. You trained her so well about being groomed. She does behave professionally at dog shows...until I get out a squeaky mouse, and she starts dancing on her hind legs, so excited to get a toy that squeaks, and so possessive of it, too! LOL She then is a funny little girl just wanting to play. We love watching her antics. Thanks for the opportunity you've given us.

Thought I would give you an update on the worlds coolest puppy. Oh Gabriele, I just adore him, I love to watch his cute little face smoosh up when he lays on me and takes a nap, I love listening him making playing noises when he is playing toug of war. He is just so fabulous and
breathtakingly adorable I am so incredibly happy with him and the awesome experience you have made this for Jon and myself. You have totally made this such an easier experience, between beginning the potty training all the
way to the information in his packet, and on to the puppy kit filled with food, treats, and bowles. Thanks Gabriele, I could not think any more highly of a breeder and I am so excited that we are able to feel the comfort of staying in touch with you for all the puppy questions to come. There is nothing Rylie loves more than to sit by the chair of Jonathan while he is doing his work on the computer. They are like two little buddies, it is so cute.

:My husband Joey and I have a Shih Tzu named Kady. She is 4 yrs old and the Queen of the house. We adore her. When my Daddy was alive and lived with us(he was unable to get around without assistance and later wheelchair) she was his best buddy. She always sit with him in his chair and would let me know if something wasn't right when he went to bed. She is extremely smart(sometimes we think to much so). We used to say lets go and she would start barking to come along, so we starting spelling"Go", it only took her a couple of days to learn that. Anyway, I'm glad for anyone who loves Shih Tzu's or any other animals. I wish in our little town, there was a Humane Society or a rescue group.

I was so happy to discover your site. We have a wonderful brindle and white Sitzu, Sam, who will be 11 in October. Sam is our best buddy and I hate to think of life without him. My husband and I want to get a puppy before Sam gets too old so we have a buddy to love when Sam leaves us. We have a wonderful vet so I am sure Sam has many more healthy years, but we are thinking. We saw some Cavalier King Charles while we were vacationing in England and became interested in the breed. Sam 's fur gets matted quite easily and I feel bad about it. Do CKC tend to matt less? Do Sitzu's and Cavalier King Charles get along well together? I have no idea what the cost of either breed puppy is at this time. When we found Sam he was on sale because the pet store was closing. I just fell in love with him at first sight. What do you charge for your puppies? Do your black and white Sitzu's have blue eyes?
We don't live too far from you so if we decide to buy a puppy could we visit your home? We would really have to be serious before visiting because my husband knows I wouldn't leave without a puppy once I held one in my arms. Thank you for the wonderful pictures!

Hello, I have a rottweiler (3 years) and a few months ago, I bought a cavalier, a black and tan one. I was afraid that our rottie would not accept the new guest, but from the beginning they are friends. If you see the rottweiler, then the cavalier will be in the neighbourhood. They play and play all the time together in the garden or in the house. Of course, sometimes, the little one is a real bitch. He teases the rottweiler and then he hides himself under a chair or under a tree sothat the rottweiler can't catch him. Wonderful to see them play together.

We met two beautiful King Charles Spaniels in Taos, N.M. in July 2002 and my husband fell in love with them. One of them we believe was "KoKo". Not positive though. We had a "Flat Coated Retriever" for a little over 17 years. We have been without her company for about two years, and we are now beginning to want to have another wonderful companion. Thanks for all of the information about CKCS and what to look for and ask when buying a dog. My parents bought a Cocker Spaniel, that we love, from a breeder who guaranteed us things that didn't pan out and really disappointed us with her business methods. I have gained an interest in CKCS since watching the Westminster Dog Show and seeing the CKCS in it. I thought it was absolutely beautiful. I was also wondering what the average price for a Cavalier king Charles Spaniel is. I am wondering because I need to know if the price for the Cav we picked out is reasonable. I suspect somewhere around five hundred but i am not sure. I love Cavs especially since they are lap dogs. They are so cute and adorable that it is so tempting. Just completed our 2nd night with Toby. He is so sweet and well mannered! You prepared him well for us. He sleeps in his crate in the kitchen all night and promptly goes to the bathroom when we first get him up!We have had only 2-3 accidents in the house, which we consider our fault for mis-reading his signals.He loves everyone.His temperment is so nice, he trusts everyone and every situation. We have never heard him cry, even the first night when we put him in the crate. I took him for his second car ride to the vet today,he did not mind being in the car, or meeting new people. He really hammed it up for the vet and staff. Such a show-off. Of course he is very healthy and checked out great!! We do love him dearly and find that already he fits so nicely in our house. Also, I might be interested in a puppy from the other ladies litter you mentioned if you are staisfied in their quality.

Since emailing you, I have found that there is a dog show here in Valdosta on this Friday and Saturday. The Shih Tzu's are to go on at 1pm and Sharon and I plan on getting to the show to talk with some of the entrants early in the morning while they are grooming. I understand there are 16 Shih Tzu's in the contest and maybe one has a litter available.

We say hello to you far away from Germany! My first and very beloved dog Dargo (a cavalier-king-charles-spaniel ) died in february at 14 years. It took a lot of time to come over but in summer we dicided to welcome a new familiy member! His name is Nemo and he is also a ruby cavalier-king-charles-spaniel.
